Birmingham Law School Launches Virtual Guide For Canadian Students

10 December 2020

The University of Birmingham is one of the most popular Law Schools for Canadian students in the UK, with over one hundred Canadian students currently enrolled.

Usually, representatives from the Law School would travel internationally to meet prospective international students, but unfortunately cannot do so this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead, they have created this video for prospective international students, “A Canadian’s Guide to Studying Law in the UK”.

This video features Paul McConnell, senior lecturer and head of Careers and Employability at the Law school; and Neda Mahmoodi and Jillian Sauerzopf, two Canadian students, and it covers topics such as:

  • Why do Canadian students choose Birmingham Law School?
  • What Canadian legal employability opportunities will students have?
  • What joint degree options are available at Birmingham Law School?
  • What supports are available to international students?
