Applying to Law programs at leading UK universities – such as Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, LSE, King’s College London, Durham, Bristol, Glasgow, and SOAS – is highly competitive, particularly for international applicants.

Strong grades alone are rarely enough; a competitive application also needs clear academic motivation, thoughtful supercurricular engagement, a strong personal statement, and effective preparation for the LNAT.

The StudyIn Elevate Law (LNAT) Application Service provides focused support throughout the UCAS application process, from initial university shortlisting through to final submission. Students work with experienced advisors and Law tutors to strengthen their academic profile, refine their personal statement, and prepare strategically for the LNAT and the broader requirements of competitive Law programs.

FAQs

Find quick answers to common questions about StudyIn Elevate Law (LNAT) service. If you need more information, our counsellors are here to help.

Is this service designed for all UK Law programmes?

No, our Law (LNAT) Application Service is specifically tailored for students aiming for the highly competitive UK universities that require the LNAT. For students applying to Law programmes that do not require the LNAT, we provide expert guidance through our free counselling sessions or our premium application service.

Do all UK Law programmes require the LNAT?

No, the LNAT is only required by a select number of the most competitive universities in the UK. Many other excellent law schools do not require the LNAT for admission. If you aren’t sure which universities on your list require it, our counsellors can help you clarify your requirements.

How can I study Law in the UK as a Canadian student?

UK Law programs at top universities are highly competitive, particularly for international applicants. To apply as a Canadian student, you will generally need to meet the following:

  • Strong academic results, meeting each university’s specific grade and subject requirements
  • An LNAT score, if your chosen universities require it. Most UK law schools do not ask for the LNAT, but a small group of highly competitive institutions (including Oxford, UCL, and a few others) do, so check each university’s entry requirements before applying
  • A strong personal statement demonstrating academic motivation and subject engagement
  • Approved English test scores (IELTS/PTE), where required
  • A Student visa and proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition and living costs
