Students across the UK are reporting a better university experience than ever, according to the National Student Survey (NSS) 2026, published by the Office for Students (OfS).
Key Statistics & Survey Insights

For prospective international students, these findings reinforce the UK’s reputation for delivering not only high-quality education but also a supportive and engaging learning environment. Many globally recognised universities continue to be popular choices for international students, including:
- University of Manchester
- University of Leeds
- University of Birmingham
- University of Sheffield
- University of Nottingham
- University of Southampton

Note: While the NSS measures student experience rather than application demand, it provides valuable insight into what students experience throughout their studies.
