Overview

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College is a further education college lovated around the seaside city of Brighton, about 50km south of London. Originally City College, Brighton & Hove, it offers a large number of vocational courses as well as A-Levels and higher education degrees with the University of Brighton. There are currently about 2,000 full-time students, with many more studying part-time. It is particularly popular for students wishing to study visual arts, such as fine art or photography at university in the UK.

Services

On the first day, students take part in an induction programme to the college, with an airport pickup service also available. The International Student Officer offers advice on welfare, visas and academic study. The International team also organises a number of social events for international students, such as trips in the UK and Europe, afternoon outings to local cultural and natural attractions and social evening activities.
