Applicants must be enrolled in one of these SIM diploma programmes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Diploma in Accounting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Diploma in Banking &amp; Finance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Diploma in International Business.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Diploma in Management Studies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Diploma in Information Technology.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Value<\/h4>\n<p><strong>SIM GE Academic Excellence Scholarship (Diploma)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>100% course fees only.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SIM GE Merit Scholarship (Diploma)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>50% of course fees only.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Eligibility Criteria<\/h4>\n<p><strong>SIM GE Academic Excellence Scholarship (Diploma)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>New international students.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Outstanding academic results in high school or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SIM GE Merit Scholarship (Diploma)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>New international students.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Communication skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Outstanding academic results in high school or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Terms &amp; Conditions<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>The scholar is required to sit for all tests, assessments and examinations, and obtain the qualification within the minimum period required of the course of study.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The scholar is not allowed to change the Programme at any time.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Scholars shall not take up or register or enrol in any other course(s) without the prior written approval of SIM GE.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Scholars shall not, without the prior written approval of SIM GE, hold the Scholarship Award concurrently with any other scholarship or tuition grant.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Every scholar is expected to contribute to SIM GE \/ the community.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The scholarship will be monitored and renewed every semester provided the scholar maintains the required academic performance and good conduct<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The Scholarship may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of SIM GE, the Scholar&rsquo;s progress or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If for whatsoever reasons the Scholarship is terminated, the Scholar shall personally bear all the fees for the remaining duration of the course of study; and the Scholar shall be further liable to repay SIM GE all of the Sponsorship Award Benefits that have been paid by SIM GE.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-220386","scholarship_articles","type-scholarship_articles","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/sri-lanka\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles\/220386","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/sri-lanka\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/sri-lanka\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/scholarship_articles"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/sri-lanka\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=220386"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
