{"id":219973,"date":"2025-06-23T09:52:12","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T06:52:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/qatar\/scholarship\/postgraduate-scholarships\/"},"modified":"2026-05-04T09:31:52","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T06:31:52","slug":"postgraduate-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"scholarship_articles","link":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/qatar\/study-in-uk\/scholarships\/birmingham-city\/postgraduate-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Postgraduate Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, we provide&nbsp;merit-based scholarships&nbsp;recognising the talents of our international students.&nbsp; These scholarships are discounted against the cost of your tuition fees.<\/p>\n<p>All international students enrolling on a postgraduate course in September will be eligible for a partial scholarship of up to &pound;2,000, discounted from your tuition fees.&nbsp; This is awarded based on your academic background, and your grade will need to be the equivalent of a UK degree:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>&pound;2,000 if a 1st class degree holder.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>&pound;1,500 if a Second Class (Upper Division) or 2:1 degree holder.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>&pound;1,000 if a Second Class (Lower Division) or 2:2 degree holder.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following courses are exempted from this scholarship:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>PhD.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Masters by Research &#8211; M.Res.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>MSc Accounting &amp; Finance (Top-Up).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Conservatoire and BSA courses (Music and Theatre).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>PGCE.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Masters in Teaching and Learning\/Educational Leadership (MTL\/MEL).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses in Health.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Short courses that are less than one academic year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Part-time or distance learning.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Study Abroad programmes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Exchange programmes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Pre-sessional English.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that scholarships are only available to self-funding students and those studying full-time for at least one academic year.&nbsp;&nbsp;Students progressing from Pre-Masters courses at BCUIC are not eligible for scholarships.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-219973","scholarship_articles","type-scholarship_articles","status-publish","hentry","scholarship_destination-study-in-uk"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/qatar\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles\/219973","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/qatar\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/qatar\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/scholarship_articles"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/qatar\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=219973"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
