Southampton Arts and Humanities Deans Global Talent Scholarship

There are 40 scholarships available to international students applying to study an undergraduate or postgraduate master’s degree in an arts or humanities subject. Successful applicants will get £10,000 towards their tuition fees.

Awards for undergraduates will cover each year of study, and awards for postgraduates will cover the first year of study.

Deadline to apply:

  • 7 April 2026, 5pm (UK time) for first round

  • 30 June 2026, 5pm (UK time) for second round 

Eligibility

To get this scholarship you must:

  • apply and receive an offer to study for an eligible University of Southampton course

  • exceed your course entry requirements

  • not receive any external sponsorship covering 100% of the tuition fees

  • be an international student paying the overseas fee

This global talent scholarship is not available to students studying:  

  • on PGCert, PGDip, Foundation or PGR courses

  • on Distance Learning courses

  • with a partner institution  

  • at our campus in Malaysia

  • on Study Abroad courses

  • as an exchange or partner student

  • on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses

  • only pre-sessional English – pre-sessional English students with an offer to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level can still apply
