Overview

Founded in 1899, Burgundy School of Business (BSB) is one of France’s oldest business schools and is a member of the prestigious French Grande École system. Based primarily in Dijon, with additional campuses in Lyon and Paris, BSB has built a strong international reputation for management education and applied business research. Around a quarter of its student population comes from outside France, creating a multicultural learning environment with students representing dozens of nationalities.

BSB is recognised globally for holding the coveted triple accreditation of AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, a distinction achieved by only a small percentage of business schools worldwide. The school offers undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programmes in areas including management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, luxury management, arts and cultural management, and wine and spirits business.

Students benefit from relatively small class sizes, strong industry links, international exchange opportunities and a practical teaching approach centred on projects, case studies and business simulations. BSB is particularly known for its specialist expertise in wine and spirits management, reflecting its location in one of the world's most famous wine-producing regions.

Services

BSB provides dedicated support through its International Relations Office, which assists students before arrival and throughout their studies. International students can access guidance on visas, accommodation, administrative procedures and settling into life in France.

The school organises welcome activities and orientation events designed to help new students integrate quickly into the BSB community. Support may include assistance with local transport, city orientation and practical administrative tasks. BSB also offers French language classes for non-French speakers alongside programmes taught in English.

Accommodation

BSB does not operate a large portfolio of university-owned residences, but it actively supports students in securing accommodation in Dijon and Lyon through partner providers and housing guidance services. (topuniversities.com)
