Merit-Based Progression Scholarships (University of Huddersfield)
Students who complete their pathway programme (International Foundation Year, International Year One or Pre-Master’s) will be awarded a scholarship upon progression to the University of Huddersfield.
How does a merit-based scholarship work?
Scholarships of up to £4,000 are awarded to international students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses, based on their academic achievements.

The scholarship is awarded each academic year of your course, except for placement years.
Am I eligible for the progression scholarship?
Please note the following criteria:

Self-funded applicants only, this means you are not receiving any funding for your studies

Be an international fee-paying student

For postgraduate, you must have achieved a minimum 2.2 or equivalent in your undergraduate degree and must meet the English and academic entry requirements for your course

Postgraduate taught programmes only (not available for Masters by Research/Masters with Placement/PhD/Doctorates)

Not available for placement components

Applicants with refugee, asylum-seeker status or indefinite leave to remain in the UK are not eligible.
