The International Bursary offers a £4,000 fee reduction for self-funded international students across our postgraduate taught (PGT) courses starting in January 2026, September 2026 or January 2027.<\/p>\n
This award is designed to support applicants with a UK 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, empowering you to advance your education at Brunel University of London. <\/p>\n
To be considered you need to:<\/p>\n
Achieve one of the following qualifications: a UK 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, a China Dazhuan qualification (75 and 3 years work experience) or a UK 3rd<\/sup> class undergraduate degree will be considered if held with a verified Masters qualification. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n Have an offer to study one of our postgraduate taught or MRes courses starting in January 2026, September 2026 or January 2027.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Pay your £5,000 course deposit by the stated deadlines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Value: £4,000 tuition fee reduction applied each year for a maximum of one year for full time courses and two years for full-time courses running over two years,<\/strong> (for example, if you enrol on to a two-year full time postgraduate taught or MRes program, the fee reduction will apply to both years of study).<\/p>\n The awards will be paid once for each eligible level of study, subject to normal progression criteria having been met (additional payments will not be made during a repeating year, regardless of the reason for repetition).<\/p>\n Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n Must have a UK 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, or a China Dazhuan qualification (75 and 3 years experience).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants with a UK 3rd<\/sup> class degree will be considered if held with a verified Masters qualification and will be considered on a case by case basis.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Must be classed as an Overseas fee-paying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored). Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Must have an offer to study on a full-time postgraduate taught or MRes programme starting in January 2026 of the 2025\/26 academic year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit by the advisory deadline stated above to secure the fee reduction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants who defer their entry from September to January of the same academic year will retain the award.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Those not eligible for this Bursary<\/strong><\/p>\n Applicants NOT classed as Overseas for fee purposes, based on the UK government regulations or those with an unresolved fee status.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants who are being sponsored by a Government or external body. Sponsored students are not eligible and must make themselves known to the Scholarship Team if they have been awarded a scholarship.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n The award is not available to Postgraduate Research applicants (i.e. PhD, MPhil), or applicants undertaking Pg Cert or PG Dip courses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The award is not available for Brunel Medical School courses, namely MSc Physician Associate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants who will NOT commence their course in January 2026 (2025\/26 academic year), and defer to 2026\/27.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants entering a course with Brunel Pathway College (BPC) or who are progressing to a Brunel course from an BPC course.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants holding an offer to study by Distance Learning.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants holding offers to study on a part-time programme.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants holding offers to study on an online learning programme.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-250224","scholarship_articles","type-scholarship_articles","status-publish","hentry","scholarship_destination-study-in-uk"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/japan\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles\/250224","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/japan\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/japan\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/scholarship_articles"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/japan\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=250224"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}Award details<\/h4>\n
