Overview
University College Birmingham (UCB) is based in the centre of Birmingham, the UK's second city. It has its origins as a technical college in the early 20th century and was granted full degree-awarding powers in 2007. Today University College Birmingham specialises in both further and higher education courses with a strong vocational focus. UCB is popular with international students looking for a high-quality yet affordable qualification. There are 7,500 students enrolled, including 1,100 international students from 65 countries.
