{"id":227057,"date":"2025-06-23T09:52:12","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T04:22:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/india\/scholarship\/postgraduate-scholarships\/"},"modified":"2026-05-04T12:01:06","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T06:31:06","slug":"postgraduate-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"scholarship_articles","link":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/india\/study-in-uk\/scholarships\/birmingham-city\/postgraduate-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Postgraduate Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, we provide\u00a0merit-based scholarships\u00a0recognising the talents of our international students.\u00a0 These scholarships are discounted against the cost of your tuition fees.<\/p>\n<p>All international students enrolling on a postgraduate course in September will be eligible for a partial scholarship of up to \u00a32,000, discounted from your tuition fees.\u00a0 This is awarded based on your academic background, and your grade will need to be the equivalent of a UK degree:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a32,000 if a 1st class degree holder.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a31,500 if a Second Class (Upper Division) or 2:1 degree holder.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a31,000 if a Second Class (Lower Division) or 2:2 degree holder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following courses are exempted from this scholarship:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PhD.<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s by Research &#8211; M.Res.<\/li>\n<li>MSc Accounting &amp; Finance (Top-Up).<\/li>\n<li>Conservatoire and BSA courses (Music and Theatre).<\/li>\n<li>PGCE.<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s in teaching and Learning\/Educational Leadership (MTL\/MEL).<\/li>\n<li>Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses in Health.<\/li>\n<li>Short courses that are less than one academic year.<\/li>\n<li>Part-time or distance learning.<\/li>\n<li>Study Abroad programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Exchange programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Pre-sessional English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that scholarships are only available to self-funding students and those studying full-time for at least one academic year.\u00a0\u00a0Students progressing from Pre-Masters courses at BCUIC are not eligible for scholarships.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-227057","scholarship_articles","type-scholarship_articles","status-publish","hentry","scholarship_destination-study-in-uk"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/india\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles\/227057","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/india\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/india\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/scholarship_articles"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/india\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=227057"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
