{"id":232154,"date":"2023-12-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T18:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/india\/news\/uk-visas-and-immigration-makes-changes-tier-4-student-visa\/"},"modified":"2023-12-20T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2023-12-19T18:30:00","slug":"uk-visas-and-immigration-makes-changes-tier-4-student-visa","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/india\/news\/uk-visas-and-immigration-makes-changes-tier-4-student-visa\/","title":{"rendered":"UK Visas and Immigration Makes Changes to Tier 4 Student Visa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>UK Visa and Immigration have announced a number of changes to Tier 4 student visas requirements for non-EU students.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New students at publicly funded colleges would be barred from working from August, bringing them in line with those at private colleges<\/li>\n<li>University students would be allowed to study a new course at the same level, but only where there&rsquo;s a link to their previous course or the university confirms that this supports their career<\/li>\n<li>College students will be banned from extending their Tier 4 visas in the UK from November, unless they are studying at an &lsquo;embedded college&rsquo; or one which has a direct link to a Home Office recognised university<\/li>\n<li>The time limit for study at further education level will be reduced from 3 years to 2 years from November.
