The latest France–India education initiatives aim to make studying in France more accessible through simplified visa processes, affordable tuition fees and a growing portfolio of more than 1,700 English-taught programmes across disciplines, including business, technology, engineering, healthcare and the arts.
One of the most notable developments is the introduction of a five-year multiple-entry Schengen circulation visa for eligible master’s graduates. France has also aligned student visa validity with the full duration of an academic programme, helping international students avoid annual visa renewals. In addition, students can work up to 964 hours per year during their studies and may access post-study work opportunities after graduation. The reforms arrive as France continues to invest in high-growth sectors such as artificial intelligence, healthcare innovation, sustainability, aerospace, luxury business and technology.
