Overview
The Manchester School of Architecture (MSA) provide undergraduate and postgraduate architecture courses, jointly run by Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester. Students will benefit from the considerable resources available at both universities, along with teaching and research expertise. The School also benefits from strong links with architectural industry in the north west of England. Graduates of the Manchester School of Architecture are highly valued by the profession who recognise their confidence, creativity and abilities that are well suited to international employment.
The BA (Hons) Architecture and Master of Architecture (MArch) courses at the MSA are recognised as Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
Services
Students will benefit from support services at both Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester. This includes advice and assistance on a variety of topics including career advice, counselling, learning support and chaplaincy. English language classes are also available for students who wish to receive assistance on written and verbal skills.

Rankings
The Manchester School of Architecture is constantly ranked as one of the best undergraduate and postgraduate architecture institutes in the UK. The school is currently ranked 7th in the UK for architecture in the Guardian University Guide 2017, and 14th in the UK in the Complete University Guide 2017.
