All Aspire scholars will also receive on-going academic and career support during their study.<\/p>\n<h4>Courses<\/h4>\n<p>Computer Science BSc, Computer Science MEng or Robotics, Artificial Intelligence MEng, and Mathematical Computation MEng programmes.<\/p>\n<h4>Eligibility<\/h4>\n<p>Eligible candidates must meet all the mandatory criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Based in the UK with home fee status or&nbsp;be a forced migrant (as defined by UCL)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>be from a Black or mixed Black Ethnic background<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>have not completed undergraduate study either at UCL or elsewhere previously<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>have accepted an offer of admission to study Computer Science BSc&nbsp;undergraduate, Computer Science MEng,&nbsp;Mathematical Computation MEng&nbsp;or Robotics and Artificial Intelligence MEng programmes for the 2026&nbsp;intake.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Additional eligibility criteria<\/h4>\n<p>Eligible candidates must also meet&nbsp;at least one&nbsp;of the additional criteria detailed below:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>be in financial need as assessed by UCL&nbsp;(household income of less than &pound;42,875)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>receive (or were eligible for) free school meals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>have a disability&nbsp;(underrepresented group&nbsp;in Higher Education)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>be a care leaver&nbsp;(underrepresented group&nbsp;in Higher Education)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>attend (or have attended) a low-performing school for either GCSE or A-level<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>live in a disadvantaged neighbourhood&nbsp;(we use&nbsp;POLAR classification&nbsp;and\/or&nbsp;Index of Multiple of Deprivation (IMD)&nbsp;data to identify levels of financial, social, economic or educational deprivation, as defined by home postcode)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> September 2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-249301","scholarship_articles","type-scholarship_articles","status-publish","hentry","scholarship_destination-study-in-uk"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/canada\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles\/249301","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/canada\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/canada\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/scholarship_articles"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/canada\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=249301"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
