SI-UK are pleased to announce a series of seminars, in partnership with UK universities, that will cover popular topics such as programmes available, student life, costs, and opportunities studying in the UK. <\/p>\n
All seminars will take place on Saturday, 27th February as part of our virtual UK University Fair. This event has now passed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Catherine W Ng joined the Aberdeen School of Law as a lecturer. After a period of private practice in Toronto, she completed her LLM in intellectual property law at Osgoode Hall Law School (Canada), her DPhil at the University of Oxford (UK), and her post-doctorate work at the Graduate Institute. She went on to complete her term as Oxford-HEI Europaeum scholar there. Her DPhil Thesis won the first British Brands Group Prize.<\/span><\/p>\n Her principal teaching and research interests are in the laws relating to intellectual property and personality rights, the media, marketing, advertising, and merchandising, the arts, history, and cultural heritage. Dr. Ng’s research has been funded by the Carnegie Trust. She is a member of the Centre for Commercial Law as well as the Centre for Scots Law.<\/span><\/p>\n This session will give you an introduction to life at <\/span>Durham University<\/span><\/a>, including their unique Collegiate System, #1 ranked Sports, and Theatre and Music. We will then give an overview of our Law Department, and Durham University Business School undergraduate programmes, and the opportunities that students studying at Durham will be able to take part in, including placement year opportunities, graduate employability and more. <\/span><\/p>\n With just a few months to go until 2022 UK Medical School applications open, this webinar introduces the University of Southampton Faculty of Medicine as we discuss what to look out for when choosing a UK Medical School and what to expect from our own BM5 Medical programme. We will also discuss the admissions and selection process for applicants and provide some insights as to what makes a competitive applicant. <\/span><\/p>\n This session, designed for both high school and University students looking to study an LLB in the UK, will go into depth about the application procedures, the costs of study, course content, and professional law opportunities in the UK, Canada and worldwide.
