SI-UK is pleased to announce we have partnered with the University of Birmingham to provide exclusive scholarship opportunities to <\/span><strong>Canadian SI-UK students.<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Award Description:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The University of Birmingham is offering the University of Birmingham Outstanding Achievement Scholarships. These are <\/span><strong>4 scholarships of &pound;2,500<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> each for Canadian domiciled students applying for entry to a September entry undergraduate programme at the University through SI-UK. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scholarships will be awarded to the <\/span><strong>highest performing students<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> starting their programme in 2021\/22 academic year.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Award Value:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scholarship awards are for<\/span><strong> &pound;2,500<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><strong>towards tuition fees<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (for the first year only) of a full time undergraduate degree programme at the University starting September 2021. Students applying to LLB or LLM are <\/span><strong>not<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> eligible due to the Law School scholarships, for additional information on these please click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/schools\/law\/courses\/scholarships.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students already registered and studying on a programme at the University of Birmingham in the UK, and students applying for MBChB Medicine and Surgery or BDS Dental Surgery are <\/span><strong>not<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> eligible for this scholarship.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to be eligible, candidates must:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have received an offer and selected the University of Birmingham as their firm choice for a <\/span><strong>full time undergraduate programme starting September 2021.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must be <\/span><strong>entering the first year<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of an <\/span><strong>undergraduate<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> programme based at Birmingham&rsquo;s UK campus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be classed as <\/span><strong>Canada domiciled<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa\/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Start their studies at the University in <\/span><strong>September 2021<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><strong>(the scholarship award may not be deferred)<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be registered with, and have their undergraduate study application attached to <\/span><strong>SI-UK Canada<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submit your scholarship application through SI-UK by the deadline; <\/span><strong>11 June 2021<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon enrolment in <\/span><strong>September 2021<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, pay their net tuition fees for the first year by <\/span><strong>1 November<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, immediately following enrolment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more information about this scholarship, or to apply, contact your consultant or email <a href=\"mailto:applications@studyin-uk.com\">applications@studyin-uk.com.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SI-UK works to support students in their applications to study in the UK, and keep them up-to-date with scholarship opportunities.
