We have created an FAQ to help students understand more about&nbsp;Predicted Grades, their importance when applying to UK universities, and the&nbsp;process of obtaining and uploading them to UCAS.<\/p>\n<p>For further information or support&nbsp;in your application or Predicted Grades, email&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:applications@studyin-uk.com\">applications@studyin-uk.com<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Why do UK Universities require Predicted Grades?<\/h3>\n<p>A predicted grade is the grade of qualification an applicant&rsquo;s school or college believes they&rsquo;re likely to achieve in positive circumstances based on previous academic achievements.<\/p>\n<h3>Why are Predicted Grades important for UK Universities?<\/h3>\n<p>Predicted grades are used by universities and colleges, as part of the admissions&nbsp;process, to help them understand an applicant&rsquo;s potential. They are used to make&nbsp;conditional offers and most medical and dentistry schools in the UK will not make&nbsp;offers without them.<\/p>\n<h3>Who fills out Predicted Grades Forms?<\/h3>\n<p>Guidance counsellors for Grade 12 students will request applicant&rsquo;s teachers tocomplete and sign the forms provided by SI-UK.<\/p>\n<h3>Where are Predicted Grades uploaded?<\/h3>\n<p>SI-UK Advisors will upload predicted grades to applicant&rsquo;s UCAS.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Guidelines and Principles for Predicted Grades<\/h3>\n<p>UCAS requires that predicted grades should be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>entered for all pending qualifications, unless the assessment method or structure of the qualification makes this inappropriate &ndash; failure to do so can lead to complications or, in some cases, the rejection of an application<\/li>\n<li>in the best interests of applicants &ndash; fulfilment and success at college or university is the end goal&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>aspirational but achievable &ndash; stretching predicted grades can be motivational for students<\/li>\n<li>determined by professional judgement &ndash;expertise and experience are vital in informing predictions<\/li>\n<li>data-driven &ndash; while each school will have its own process, teachers should look at past Level 2 and Level 3 performance, and\/or internal examinations to inform your predictions<\/li>\n<li>finalised by the point of application submission &ndash; UK universities are only likely to consider the predicted grades received through a UCAS application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For further information or support in your application or Predicted Grades, email&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:vicki@studyin-uk.com\">vicki@studyin-uk.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an accredited UCAS centre, SI-UK North America works to help students apply to&nbsp;UK Universities.
