To celebrate Brunel University of London’s 60th anniversary, we are delighted to introduce the Brunel 60th Anniversary Undergraduate International scholarship – an exclusive opportunity for self-funded international students joining our undergraduate taught programmes in September 2026/27.

This prestigious award offers a £1,000 tuition fee reduction, recognising and supporting talented students from around the world as they begin their academic journey at Brunel.

Who is eligible?

To be considered you need to:

  • Have an offer from us to study one of our undergraduate courses starting in September 2026.

  • Pay your £5,000 course deposit the by the advisory deadline 31 August 2026.

Award details

Value: £1,000 tuition fee reduction applied to each year of study.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must have an offer to study on a full time undergraduate taught programme starting in September 2026 of the 2026/27 academic year.

  • Offer must be for either the foundation year, FHEQ Level 4 (Year 1), FHEQ Level 5 (Year 2) or FHEQ Level 6 (year 3) of the course.

  • Must be classed as an Overseas feepaying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored). This includes applicants from the EU who are required to pay overseas fees. Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government.

  • All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel in September.

  • Applicants must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit by the advisory deadline stated above to secure their fee reduction.

  • Applicants who defer their entry from September 2026 to September 2027 academic year), will NOT retain the award.

Those not eligible for this award

  • Applicants NOT classed as Overseas for fee purposes, based on the UK government regulations or those with an unresolved fee status.

  • Applicants who are not fully self-funded and are being sponsored by a government or external body. Sponsored students are not eligible and must make themselves known to the Scholarship Team if they have been awarded a scholarship.

  • The award is not available to Postgraduate Taught, Postgraduate Research applicants (i.e. PhD, MPhil), or applicants undertaking PG Cert or PG Dip courses. Brunel offer several Postgraduate Scholarships

  • The award is not available for Brunel Medical School courses, namely the MBBS.

  • Applicants who will NOT commence their course in September 2026 (2026/27 academic year) and defer to 2027/28.

  • Applicants entering a course with Brunel Pathway College (BPC) or who are progressing to a Brunel course from a BPC course.

  • Applicants holding an offer to study by Distance Learning.

  • Applicants holding offers to study on a part-time programme.

  • Applicants holding offers to study on an online learning programme.
