{"id":219827,"date":"2025-06-23T10:23:14","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T06:23:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/azerbaijan\/scholarship\/outstanding-international-student-award\/"},"modified":"2026-05-04T10:31:44","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T06:31:44","slug":"outstanding-international-student-award","status":"publish","type":"scholarship_articles","link":"https:\/\/gostudyin.com\/azerbaijan\/study-in-canada\/scholarships\/british-columbia\/outstanding-international-student-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Outstanding International Student Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Outstanding International Student (OIS) Award is a one-time, merit-based entrance scholarship awarded to qualified students when they are offered admission to UBC.&nbsp;<span class=\"s1\">Students selected for this award show&nbsp;strength academically and display&nbsp;involvement outside of the classroom.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For the 2025\/2026 academic year, OIS awards will be valued at $10,000 &ndash; $25,000.<\/p>\n<h4>Eligibility<\/h4>\n<p>To be&nbsp;considered for an OIS Award, you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Be new to UBC, entering directly from secondary school or post-secondary (university or college).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be an international student studying at UBC on a&nbsp;Canadian study permit (student visa).
